 This is my first posting to the net, so I am not sure if the request
is appropriately placed. We are looking for any code/hints/ideas/suggestions
to write a SYNCHRONOUS interface for the DMF32 driver. Our eventual aim
is to implement DDCMP on top of the synchronous interface in the UNIX
environment in C. We are currently having 4.2 BSD and should be moving to
4.3 BSD on a VAX 11/750. 
  We are new to communications and any help/advice etc. is thanked for in
advance.
