I would be greatly appreciative of receiving a copy by e-mail (especially as I am right now trying out the C-LTD 1 meg expansion at home). Speaking of which, DPaint II seems to be inconsistent in the way it handles the extended memory. - Running it out of the ramdisk (by clicking on the icon) crashes with fireworks. - Selecting 640X400 with lots of colours has caused lockups shortly after loading finishes; this may have been related to (1) above. (some of these crashes brought it right back to the kickstart prompt!) - there was 1 lockup while drawing with a brush in 320X400X5 - there seems to be some limit on the size of a brush not governed by amount of available chip memory, ie you can't just take a 320X200 screen as a brush in 640X200 and double it horizontally, you have to take it in pieces However, it is *wonderful* to be able to use a spare screen while running in 640X400X4, or run Aegis Draw and DPaint II and VT100 and Shell and...etc all at the same time! 1 reproducible bug, which occurs with or without extended memory: resize the big square pen while twiddling the shift and control keys. guru, blank screen or fireworks - take your pick. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Let's not forget about the ramdisk! john13@garfield.mun.cdn (cdnnet) {seismo|ihnp4|utai}!garfield!john13 (uucp)
