Since I really like lots of resolution I wanted to run it in interlace with 400 lines, but since it insists on using 4 bit planes in a hi-res screen it burns nearly all of the system memory. I can only get it up this way by unplugging the external drive and running completely bare. Is there a way to get it to run with fewer bit planes ? I don't need color as much as I need resolution ! I routinely use DeluxePaint in one bit plane, which makes it run faster and smaller. This kind of option I consider critical to any program for it to run on various configurations of Amiga's. If anyone knows the answer, please clue me in on it. Thanks !
