I have an Epson MX80III with a Gold Eagle Serial Interface. This interface buffers about 4K. It also offers five different kinds of handshaking. On the Unix machine where it used to run it was set up for DTR, but CTS, RTS, ETX/ACK and X-on/X-off are also supported. My problem is when printing a Scribble document, the printer buffer seems to fill once and that's it. The prompt comes back up on the Amiga and there is no way to get the entire document out -- forward is not acceptable here. I had to resort to breaking the document into multiple page pieces of less than 4K. Has anyone encountered this problem and is there a solution? -- Bob Peirce, Pittsburgh, PA uucp: ...!{allegra, bellcore, cadre, idis} !pitt!darth!investor!rbp 412-471-5320 NOTE: Mail must be < 30K bytes/message
