Lines: 26 Yet Another Modem Query! Having read through a some back issues of InCider magazine recently, I noted the editors gave a favourable review of the Apple 300/1200 baud Personal Modem. It plugs directly into the wall socket, is designed for the IIc user in mind, is Hayes compatible. Sounds great! The price was $399 in according to the Dec 85/Jan 86 issue. However, I've never seen or heard of it much lately. I haven't called a dealer because I expect they'd want full price anyway. I was wondering what the discount price may be. Any readers out there who has one of these animals? If so, can you give a review of it... ie. What software you are using, what terminal you're emulating, etc., if its successful, if you like it, how it compares with other modems, etc. Since I STILL haven't bought a modem, I'm still looking around at everything. I'm sure other prospective modem buyers or even current users may also be interested. Thanks in advance! -- Garry Archer Esq. ihnp4!hsi!archer Health Systems International New Haven, CT 06511 USA
