Anybody who has had trouble using the uudecode I posted earlier (getting
empty output files for example) should make sure that they are properly
translating newline characters into Atascii newlines.  This can be done
before, during, or after downloading.

Perhaps I can take care of this translation inside the program in the final
version.  I am not sure this is what is causing the problems that have been
reported, but it sounds like a possiblity.
