My 800XL ROM is sick.  The memory test on the ATARI shows the left hand
bar in red (meaning that the ROM is bad).  Does anyone know of a quick
(and cheap) way of replacing the ROM.  Can I burn a new one ?  Can an ATARI
ROM be purchased at a reasonable price ?  I have the ability to replace the
ROM myself - I just need a new one.  

Your help would be appreciated.

ps: I purchased the 800XL a few years back (when it was still quite 
expensive) so I'd rather not just buy a new 800XL.
