I don't get it.  When I call evnt_mutli it seems to work almost fine but
not quite.  I am using button and mesag mode.  When I click the mouse anywhere
it returns from evnt_mutli unless the mouse is pointing at scan line 0-18
(monochrome).  What causes this?  It seems as if the scan lines that don't
cause evnt_mutli to return are those that the main menu line are on.
