Last night I got MicroGnuEmacs running on my ST.  This is the GNU-compatible
microemacs that showed up on mod.sources a few days ago; it's based on the
old v30 microemacs and doesn't have much relation to the one called 3.7.  I
want to spend a little more time implementing some of the optional frobs 
(like support for a startup file) and then I will post an executable and 
possibly sources.  Please do not deluge my mailbox with special requests
in the meantime!  I mention this now only to save others who have been
contemplating undertaking this project themselves from reinventing the wheel.
