This and a few other glitches in the Kermit protocol have been fixed in v1.7a which will be distributed real soon now. I might distribute it via net once more, if one could restrict the distribution to arpa and bitnet I would feel a lot better about it (the arced and uuencoded binary is about 160kB, which is simply to big for usenet).
