I have a KV-20XBR that I use occaisonally with my 1040ST, with good results. If you're in the market for a T.V. and you've got an ST monochrome system, the Sony XBRs are great. Of course constructing a cable is neither cheap, nor easy. (Send me mail for info; most of it has already been posted to the net.) Generally, though, I prefer to use my monochrome monitor. > It is purely speculative on my part but I would guess that SONY's next move > will be the introduction of a line of high resolution monitor/receivers, > comparable with the XBRs, that also have a "full spectrum" tuner... For what it's worth, I'll bet their next move will be DIGITAL. Chuck Lincoln AT&T Bell Laboratories ihnp4!ihlpa!lincoln
