Hans Breitenlohner writes in the INFO-ATARI8 group: >I would like to commend Brad Banko for using trailing characters to avoid >the problem of having trailing blanks truncated. Another alternative would >be to generate '`' instead of blank. Most new versions of uuencode do this. Guess that's what you get with user-defined standards: user-redefined standards. So I will change my uudecode to translate grave accents to spaces and wait for the next ingenious modification of uuencode to show up... And I still think all EBCDIC machines should be used in artificial reef building projects. Those looking for ARC source should take a look at the SIMTEL20.ARPA files... they have all the C source files for it (not sure which version, probably TOPS-20?) They are accessible from ARPA and BITNET sites...the directory is PD:. The files are listed in PD:MISC.CRCLST. Don Rice University of Alaska, Fairbanks BITNET%"FXDDR@ALASKA" CIS 72337,3417 // KL7JIQ
