Summary: advice needed on running WP on PCjr

I will be placing 15 IBM PCjr computers, 256K, and printers
in a high school English class very soon.  I notice I can't
get certain WP keystrokes (like ALT-F8 which defines a macro)
on the PCjr.  I also get system notices (like directions to
place the B: disk in the drive and press return) writing
over the screen of text, which makes the screen unreadable.

Any advice (other than forget it, it can't be done)?
