Lines: 9 The last time I booted my ibm-pc, I got an error code on the screen that said '40FF'. The machine then hung. I attempted to isolate the problem by removing all extraneous expansion boards. When I had removed everything but the video controller I got an error code that said '4090'. Does anyone know what these error codes mean, and what I can do to make my computer work again?
