My AT ignores them O.K. - I am trying to find out how to use the last 122 cylinders on my ST4051 (it is running on an Everex controller) in my AT compatible. They are there, they are formattable (with a low level formatting program I have) but fdisk just pretends they don't exist. Now, it is only a "mere" 5.5 meg. but I want to be able to use every little bit. What is MOST frustrating is that when I first got the thing it WAS using all 977 cylinders (thus it can be done) but I eventually had to re-format the drive (low level, and dos-level). That is when I lost them. Any replies? I would appreciate any input. If anything significant is learned, I will summarize and post it for everyone's enjoyment.
