First:

Do programs need to be written as memory resident programs, or is there
an interface that does it (which may need to be inserted and compiled
with the program)?

If it's just an interface could someone send me a copy?

Second:

Files have a 'system' attribute bit.  Of what use is it?  Does anything
actually check it?  Any help is always appreciated!
