View, CA Lines: 19 Keywords: No device driver in Compaq DOS Recently I asked for help in reading and setting the hardware clock in my Compaq DeskPro. I'm unable to use Compaq DOS, which (in version 2.11) automagically did that chore. IBM DOS ignores the DeskPro's clock. I've since gotten a couple of replies stating that I should use the CLOCK.SYS device driver. I don't HAVE any device driver for the clock! As far as I can determine, Compaq DOS 2.11 has the clock code imbedded inside COMMAND.COM. If somebody out there has the CLOCK.SYS device driver, and can send me a uuencoded copy, I'd be very happy to try it out. Thanks in advance. -- {hplabs,amdahl,3comvax}!bnrmtv!perkins --Henry Perkins It is better never to have been born. But who among us has such luck? One in a million, perhaps.
