Well, I got the Speech Systems board, actually just
distributed by them, it's from PBJ.  Looks great,
nice instructions.  COst me $70 w/out chips.

Well, I put it in last nite (bye bye warranty, the 90 days
were past) and she DIDNA WORK!  Guess that's what I get
for using 3 different brands of RAM chips.  But the type
codes indicate that none of them are 64Kx4 instead of
the required 256Kx1.
Time to put the 4 original chips back in and see if I still
have a Coco III.  Hope to get it up before Level II OS9
comes out.  COme to think of it, that may be too easy...
