You state that it is a standard, is the Apple // version not significant? That's would be odd since its's the same program that runs on the PC. How about Supercalc 3a? VIP Professional? Deluxe Paint? Paintworks Plus? And we shouldn't forget about Appleworks, since it now outsells Lotus 123. I can name dozens of other programs. I think the thousands of programs argument is significant because the user has a choice and is not forced to use a particular program because there is no other choice.
