Message-ID: <785@vaxb.calgary.UUCP> Date: Tue, 3-Feb-87 18:11:59 EST Article-I.D.: vaxb.785 Posted: Tue Feb 3 18:11:59 1987 Date-Received: Sat, 7-Feb-87 07:22:47 EST Organization: U. of Calgary, Calgary, Ab. Lines: 23 I have a 512KE Mac with a 10MB Hyperdrive and am interested in trying out Apple's MPW system. According to the APDA catalog I just received, the basic MPW system and MPW Pascal run with 512K but 1M is "highly recommended". MPW C and MacApp are said to require 1M. Has anyone out there tried MPW on a 512K machine? How much can one get done with MPW or MPW Pascal with only 512K? Can anything useful be done at all with MPW C or MacApp with 512K? My main interests here are: 1) MPW C for real programming - Yeah, no hope, right? 2) MPW assembler for real programming - Maybe? 3) MPW and MacApp for real, or just to evaluate. Unless you have something startling unique to say, please mail to me. I will summarize to the net.
