For the full story, including a couple of quibbles, read on. Unfortunately the message was truncated. I was about to end off by saying that I had yet to run Jasmine's diagnostic formatter, because they had not shipped me the copy of Flashback that I ordered along with the drive. When I contacted them about it (pointing out that I was reluctant to do much with the drive until I had a backup) they agreed that they had screwed up and promised to ship Flashback to me right away, to arrive in a day or so. Here it is a week later and I still don't have it. Presumably they decided to save themselves a couple of dollars by sending it via snail-mail. This falls short of eagerness-to-please in my books, but doesn't prevent me from continuing to consider this Jasmine drive a good-quality product and a great value. The usual disclaimer: Jasmine has so far managed to leave me a satisfied customer, somewhat in spite of themselves. I have no other relationship with the company.
