We are looking for a text editor to use on an IBM PC (actually Olivetti M24), almost entirely for producing *.tex files. Desirable features include: 1) Easy string substitution 2) Easy cut&paste and input from separate file 3) Cheapness (so any bells & whistles other than above are unnecessary). Please can anyone recommend such an editor? (please followup or use e-mail). In particular, has anyone used Epsilon?
