The pupose of this group would be to provide a place where issues specific to ultrix and berkeley/DEC/ultrix can be discussed without undue distress to the broader unix community. I will accept votes pro or con on this proposal, sent to me via E-mail. After a suitable period, 2 to 3 weeks, I will expose a summary of the results here for the net.gods inspection. Hopefully, they will be pleased and will create the group. Net protocol requires that the ballots be mailed to me, and *NOT* be posted to either news group.
