Less than a week ago I put a message in this group asking for
reviewers for a forthcoming book of mine, The Unix Command Reference Guide.
The response has been overwhelming, and very gratifying. Almost everyone
expressed a desire to help improve the quality of Unix books. It is
exciting to see the strong Unix community spirit in action.

But please, gentle readers. I can only manage the logistics for about a
dozen reviewers. If I accept the assistance of all of you who have
already volunteered, I will still be evaluating the comments when Fall
rolls around.  Thanks to all who responded, and I'll try to contact you
individually.
