Not implemented yet.  These remain unimplemented in 4.3BSD.  Don Libes
at NBS AMRF (...!umcp-cs!nbs-amrf!libes, but their UUCP link is down
until further notice) has routines for sharing varibles via IPC rather
than shared storage.
