Dyer Computer Consulting, Cambridge MA Lines: 12 Summary: how's it work (if at all) The latest UUCP map has strained my version of pathalias such that it's being asked to malloc more than 64K of data. My understanding is that malloc and its derivatives take an unsigned int, which would seem to preclude the ability to dynamically allocate any 'huge' object. Is there any way around this? What good is huge model if you can't build an object to manipulate?? If I'm missing something, please let me know. FYI, I have the latest beta Cmerge which is supposed to have many large and huge model bugs fixed. -- Steve Dyer dyer@harvard.HARVARD.EDU {linus,wanginst,bbnccv,harvard,ima,ihnp4}!spdcc!dyer
