I have a some questions about the Amiga, which may seem elementary to all you "experienced" programmers! We just got it about a month ago, and love it! Anyway, I am writing a program in C using Intuition to do some menus and requesters etc. Two problems I've encountered, trivial but frustrating, are one, I can't figure out how to disable the menus when using an AutoRequester. The Intuition manual only says to make the Item part of that menu's menu- number equal to NOITEM, but how on earth do you do that??? I can't figure it out. Two, Upon experimenting with some different colours with requesters and menus, which we have specified to compliment when selected. But when I changed the colours, now when I select a menu item it is an absolutely AWFUL green colour, which persists no matter WHAT colours I choose except the defaults of the original Workbench preferences. I cannot find anwhere why that compliment colour would be green!, or how to change that. Any ideas? Thanks, Beth Freeman. thanks!
