Message-ID: <8701052129.AA00698@ibis.UUCP> Date: Mon, 5-Jan-87 16:29:24 EST Article-I.D.: ibis.8701052129.AA00698 Posted: Mon Jan 5 16:29:24 1987 Date-Received: Thu, 8-Jan-87 23:38:24 EST Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The ARPA Internet Lines: 21 Approved: apollo@yale-comix.arpa I'm having problems with the c compiler and I was wondering if it's an actual bug in the compiler or a problem with the source code I'm working with. The compiler is crashing with /com/cc - reference to out-of-bounds address (OS/MST manager) not with an actual syntax error or warning... The code is the artsrch.c file of the public domain rrn utility (remote read news) distributed with BSD4.x The code itself is too big to include here, and I have no idea where it's dying, because It doesn't even return the line number that it died on. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Mike Burati University of Lowell Lowell MA UUCP: ..!{apollo | wanginst | datacube}!ulowell!burati CSNET: burati@ulowell.csnet
