We use C-Kermit, compiled on DOMAIN/IX.  It will run from Aegis, but I suspect
that you will need DOMAIN/IX to make it, since you will need support for the
DOMAIN/IX system and library calls, not to mention "make".

We have used this version to talk to ms-dos kermit, as well as to C-kermit
running on a vax and 3b2.  It may have also talked to kermit running on NOS,
but I'm not sure.
