Could somebody describe what the low-level interface to the cheap laser
printer engines (i.e. Canon, Richo, etc.) is like.  I'd like to know
what the controler has to send to the engine (i.e. does it just dump
a megabyte bit image?).

Please reply directly to me (I'm not on the list) and I will summarize
what I receive.
