A friend of mine needs to convert a bunch of IBM DOS labeled,
EBCDIC format-V magtapes to something that VMS's RMS will like
better.

Does anybody know of (or have (free ?)) programs to do this ?
The need is great enough that commercial grade programs can
justify commecial grade prices.

Somebody else must have needed this before. If I hear of anything
useful, I'll summarize for the net.
