We have just taken delivery of a Sun workstation, and I'd
like to get GNU Emacs running on it as soon as possible.  We
will be ordering a tape from the Free Software Foundation,
but that will take a long time.  So:-

        Can anyone please mail me the sources?

Notes:

1. We don't have Internet access so I can't FTP - if I could
   I would.

2. I don't know what the USA arragements are, but on the
   European part of Bitnet, there are no transmission
   charges, so sending even such a large amount of stuff
   wouldn't cost anything

3. Our connection to Bitnet is a VAX running VMS (4.5), with
   Jnet 2.0, so similar sites can send Backup savesets if
   convenient.

4. If anyone can send me the stuff, please send me a mail
   first, so that several people don't trouble themselves
   needlessly.

I'd be very grateful if anyone can help me out.
