Subject: GKS and windowing systems

I am using the AT&T 3B1 (aka UNIX PC, aka PC 7300).  It uses the GKS 
system for graphics presentation, I do not know what for windowing.
I can only say about the windowing system that it is very complete, easy
to use and bug free.  Care to comment some more?
