I have the 5" bull-barrel with a Ruger Single-Six front sight. Just be sure that if you buy a Mk II (not Mk I) it does not have the defective thumb safety. Ruger issued a recall about these guns and will fix them for free. The test is to put the gun on safe, pull the trigger and move the safety to F. If the hammer drops, it's recalled. I also suggest that you buy a plastic magazine loading tool. It will save a lot of wear on your fingers. With a small file and 600 wet-and-dry sand paper, you can really smooth out the stamped parts and considerably improve the trigger pull. Jon Kaplowitz erc3ba!jfka
