Instructions on doing this should be included in the news 2.11 *distribution*, perhaps somewhere in the installation instructions. It should certainly be included in the *next* release of news (or its replacement). Perhaps an official news "patch" could (should?) be distributed to "update" the documentation for everyone? (Are the news 2.11 maintainers listening out there?) Apologies for suggesting the obvious. No, I haven't read the news 2.11 documentation. No, I am not this site's news administrator.
