The proposed legislation would enable the actual producers of a movie to distribute it in Canada but if a third party is to be used to distribute it to Canadian movie houses then it must be a Canadian company. Hardly an onerous situation for the movie producers. What gall we have eh? Insisting that some of the services operating in Canada actually benefit Canadians in some way!
