Does anyone know of a Document Library Data Base program for the IBM PC?

The program should be capable of handling thousands of documents. It should
be able to locate documents from searches of various combinations of Author,
Title, key words, dates, general words in the document abstracts, etc. It 
short be able to do various types of sorts, ie number of key words found in
headers, date etc.
