What we have is a Bridge Communications CS/200 terminal server running the tcp/ip protocols talking to a Gould PN6031 running UTX/32 2.0 (4.3bsd & SysV). What I want to do is hook a printer up to one of the ports on the CS/200 and access it from the Gould using the normal line printer spooler. What I have so far is the printer hooked up to the CS/200 and assigned an internet number and the Gould can rlogin to that number and echo data to the printer and it all works fine. I have tried configuring the printers internet number as a remote machine in the printcap database but all I seem to get is 'daemon not present'. Is there some standard way of achieving what I want or do I have to hack the line printer daemon source to do this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
