Can anyone tell me about the effect of repeater in Baseband CSMA/CD ?
Does it has cabability to detect a collision between segments ?

How does the transceiver in Baseband CSMA/CD distinguish between noise
and a collision of its packet, if there are two stations transmitting
from each side of the network ?

What are the methods used to detect the collision in Baseband and Broadband
CSMA/CD ?
