I have recently compiled GnuEmacs 18.37 under VMS. When I try to
use functions that have to do with directory structures I run into
problems. For example cd is never satisfied with a valid directory and
always lists completeions when I hit <C/R>. Byte-recompile-directory
exhibits similar behavior. Did these functions ever work under VMS or
this a new problem?
