	I'm not sure when this is happenning, but every so often I
notice that for some reason C-n (next-line) starts moving the cursor
to the beginning of the next line, regardless of the horizontal
position of the cursor in the current line.  This is very annoying,
and exiting and restarting has been my only solution to date.  It
doesn't happen that often, but I had hoped that there was some
variable somewhere that causes this that I could just set rather than
exit and restart....
