Does anyone have any recommendations or partical experience with 
film recorders (such as the Matrix MVP-SA, for example)? I am considering
the Bell&Howell CDI4 color digital imager since it seems speak HPGL
and I therefore assume will be highly compatable. I am not sure
how good its resolution is or if it can produce "professional" quality
slides.
