Message-ID: <795@tjalk.cs.vu.nl> Date: Thu, 12-Mar-87 07:05:21 EST Article-I.D.: tjalk.795 Posted: Thu Mar 12 07:05:21 1987 Date-Received: Fri, 13-Mar-87 21:39:27 EST Reply-To: matty@cs.vu.nl (Matty Huntjens) Distribution: world Organization: VU Informatica, Amsterdam Lines: 19 Keywords: apl/11, ascii char mnemonics, "and" Could someone mail me what, in apl/11, the ascci char mnemonic is for the logical scalar dyadic function "and" ? At the moment the only way to identify this function is with the char "&". The logical function "or" can be identified with the mnemonic .or and with "|". I want to change this unsymmetric approach, by adding the mnemonic for "and". In the sources of the interpreter I found a comment which says that the used mnemonics where chosen from the "HP APL ascii char mnemonics" . This isn't helping me, since I don't have those mnemonics either, but it might be a hint for someone who is reading this.
