As to your call for a response from them, you probably won't hear anything unless it's something you just don't want to hear. They certainly are under no obligation to warn anyone that they may be preparing a case against them; and it could allow parties who, in their view, are 'guilty' time to cover their 'tracks'. If they do decide their position is untenable, then the issue just will never be mentioned by them. I might suggest, however, that with the huge stable of lawyers they have, and their strong post-divestiture stance on ownership, if they even believe they will lose but in doing so scare others from attempting such reverse- engineering tactics, it's very possible that they'll act on this topic.
