I just got the HP28C and I love it.
I want to build an interface to my Z80 CP/M system,
where the IR beam is received and presented to a parallel port.

What frequency is the IR beam, and what coding is used?
What I need to know is what detector and receiver chip to use.
Can this information be released?  Are they commercially available?
