Look folks, I don't want to get too kvetchy, but please move this stack discussion somwhere else. It does not belong here. On a minix-related point: Was there ever an answer to the hard drive driver question? Am I unknowledgable, or is it possible to use the MS-DOS versions of any hard disk driver (that is supposedly self installing into the memory when the program is run) from within Minix? I have neither an IBM nor minix yet (I'm waiting anxiously for the Atari ST version), so I am probably totally off base. BTW, just got the book on Friday, and haven't put it down all weekend. Wonderful job Andy! It makes operating systems fun again! =================================================================== | John (Tushie) Ogawa | "Life is hard you know, | | UC San Diego | So strike a pose on a Cadillac." | | ucbvax!sdcsvax!sdics!ogawa | -The Bangles | |-----------------------------------------------------------------| | Disclaimer: My views in no way reflect those of the University | | of California, nor do their views reflect mine. | ===================================================================
