I'm in the process of buying all the support junk (you know, all the
minor little things like power supplies, tapes, communication
equipment, terminals; nothing important  :-) for a new UNIX system.

We're looking for an uninterruptible power supply.  I'd appreciate
hearing _anything_ anyone has to say about particular manufacturers
or models, or about generalities.  If you have one (or more) of these
beasties, would you please tell me how to contact its manufacturer
(so far, I've gotten info from exactly one manufacturer)?

Basicly, our minimum requirements are that it be able to handle a
3.5 KVA (Kilo Volt-Amp; that's what everything I've seen is rated in)
load for 10 minutes, and that it have some sort of interface to the
computer it is powering, so that it can warn the computer that it's
about to die.

Highly desireable characteristics include small size, cool operation,
filtering, and, of course, good price.
