This is, of course, the correct way, although many people incorrectly
say "vye".  But I'll never forget the person who pronounced it

Ernie Rice calls it "Osgood".  Locally, we generally say "Oh Ess Jee Dee",
or sometimes just "Dee".

By the way, cbatt is "see-bat".
