Everybody else pronounced it "gasp." So for a while there I had to watch my bangs and gasps. By the way, how do people pronounce "char," as in "getchar?" I've only heard it pronounced with a soft "ch" as in "chair;" my instinct at first was to pronounce it hard, like "car." What do others do?
