MORIA version 5.0 was started on at one point in time, but has yet to be completed. For the past two years I have had the privilege of working with Robert Koeneke at the University of Oklahoma. I have also become a hopeless addict of MORIA, but I think I'm over that now. Now for the good news. I WILL be distributing of MORIA for use by other confused individuals (be warned if you have never played it). Robert will NOT, I repeat NOT, be distributing until further notice. You may, however, direct fan mail his way (He is not sure what his network addresses are, so you will have to write). He would love to hear about your amusements with the game, but do not expect a reply. He has recently taken a job with American Airlines in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and his address is: Robert Koeneke 12706 E. 39th St. Tulsa, OK 74146 I am a quite busy individual, so all I can promise is that I will get it to all interested parties. VMS Backup will be the distribution format, at either 1600 or 6250 bpi. I am willing to give out the source, and encourage people to propagate it on to others. Those interested should contact me (via personal mail preferably, NO phone calls before 5:00pm EST), or send me a tape with enough cash to mail it back to you. There, I hope this answers everyones questions about the status of MORIA. Note that I rarely read the games newsgroups, so please send your inquiries to me personally). Long live the Balrog!!! -Bill Ouchark- P.S. - Anyone else out there interested in distributing? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bill Ouchark Voice : (617) 495-1271 VMS Systems Programmer/Analyst Harvard University Science Center BITNET : ouchark@harvsc3 1 Oxford Street UUCP : ihnp4!wjhiz!HUSC3!ouchark Cambridge, MA 02138 INTERNET: ouchark%husc3@harvard.harvard.edu ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bill Ouchark Voice : (617) 495-1271 VMS Systems Programmer/Analyst Harvard University Science Center BITNET : ouchark@harvsc3 1 Oxford Street UUCP : ihnp4!wjhiz!HUSC3!ouchark Cambridge, MA 02138 INTERNET : ouchark%husc3@harvard.harvard.edu
